Elementary Cycle 1 Mathematics (grades 1 to 2)

Competency: To solve a situational problem related to mathematics 

Choose from the situational problems below:


This problem involves planning out a farm. Students will need to divide their page into halves, and follow the criteria for placing each piece of clipart onto the solution sheet. 'What I Know' and 'What I need to Do' pages are included too as well as a cover page. 





Elementary Cycle 2 Mathematics (Grades 3 to 4)

Competency: To solve a situational problem related to mathematics 

Choose from the situational problems below:

This situational problem involves  multiplying 2-digit numbers by one-digit numbers and ten, elapsed time, addition and subtraction, money, maps

This situational problem involves calculating area, planning, and addition within 10 000.



Elementary Cycle 3 Mathematics (Grades 5 to 6)

Competency: To solve a situational problem related to mathematics 

Choose from the situational problems below:

For cycle 3, grades 5-6
This situational problem involves planning and modelling, circle graphs, types of triangles, angles, and quadrilaterals, fractions

For Cycle 3 (grades 5-6)
This situational problem involves basic operations, finding percentages, finding the average, and using fractions.
