This is the final full unit on the Iroquoians and their way of life around the year 1500 (but we'll visit them again in a unit comparing them to the Inca and more later on)
In this unit, learners will discover how language is something we have left over from the great Haudenosaunee nations that lived along the St. Lawrence in the 16th century. They'll discover how Canada got its name, and go on a fun language treasure hunt!
